I know that not many people are going to read this because I am one of the thousands that comment but I just was thinking of my dog and wanted to tell people about my boxer and how much of a champ he is. My boxer is 13 years old and his hips are slowly starting to wear away. I don’t know how much longer he’ll be alive because boxers don’t usually live to be 13+ but if his hips keep wearing out than sooner or later he won’t be able to walk and my mom said that she would just put him under at that point because she doesn’t want him to live a life that he can’t walk. Also I’m not ready for this kind of stuff because I’m only 11 so my dog has been at my side for all of my life and when he goes It’ll be like losing a family member. I’m going to stop writing about him now because I am crying as I am writing this but I just wanted to let people know about my dog. I don’t expect to get a lot of likes on this comment because most people won’t read a comment this long but if you are reading this part right now than I would like to thank you. Reading a comment this long about my dog will take a long time to read but if you do read the whole thing I would like to ask you you to pray to my dog that he lives long and God will help his hips.

There ARE several foods dogs can have, including many fruits (bananas, strawberry's, blue berries, cranberries, & apples). A great treat is also carrots & some peanut butter!

On the abuse note, I was visiting my moms house yesterday because it was her birthday, & my sister was there. My mom got a pup recently, which I learned that day. But when my sister took her outside the new dog rand into the road. There weren’t any cars but my sister was really mad at the pup & threw her in the kennel & was hitting her multiple times. I knew it wasn’t right. Everyone knows a dog doesn’t belong in the road, but you also shouldn’t beat them. The pup already knew she was in trouble & ran to her kennel on her own anyway, but my sister just dragged her back out (I have no reason why) & beat her. I’m going to get her to watch this video.

I have made or everyone in my house has made one of those mistakes and we made yelling at the dog, sometimes physically hitting (just with a shoe gently like patting) his head, not brushing his teeth (well we all forgot to brush his teeth when he was a puppy oops)

About the chocolate thing: My Grandpa's dog had went into a shock like state after going hunting so he took him to the vet. The vet gave him chocolate and he jumped up and acted normal

It is not much of a problem leaving them in the car at night, but should never do that during the day even if -10 outside. Because a car is a solar hotbox.

This list of "rules'' looks like the same ones you would use for having a baby. Don't hit it, don't yell at it, don't neglect it, keep it stimulated, all the same stuff.
